SV SparkassenVersicherung is a modern regional insurer with a comprehensive range of products and services. It bundles the insurance offering of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe in Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Thuringia and parts of Rhineland-Palatinate. With six branches and around 3.7 million customers, SparkassenVersicherung is one of the largest public insurers.
The electronic signature is already very present in our everyday lives – whether shopping, accepting parcels or at the car repair shop. These processes are increasingly being completed with a digital signature. For this reason, SV SparkassenVersicherung, in cooperation with signotec, has introduced an electronic signature solution in insurance consulting for field service. "Our goal is to create a modern and customer-friendly signature option.", says Adriaan Geursen, Head of Department DV Coordination Sales at SV SparkassenVersicherung Holding AG.
In the first implementation stage of this project, the field service was equipped with the signature software signoSign/2. This made it possible to sign applications and forms offline as well as online as a PDF on the Windows Surface, detached from their own systems. In the second implementation stage, the solution was integrated into the sales and advisory system.
During the implementation, SparkassenVersicherung paid special attention to the topics of legal security, data protection and audit security. "When selecting our technology partner, the ability of integration into our systems and processes as well as those of our sales and cooperation partners was also extremely important to us. With the solutions from signotec, we are ideally positioned and prepared for the future.", says Geursen.
With the help of this solution, SV SparkassenVersicherung not only achieves a simpler and faster application process, but also avoids any signature(s) being forgotten thanks to technical plausibility. In addition to the internal added value, this also has a positive external impact on customers and is a significant step towards digitalisation.
"Now that we are so advanced with electronic signatures in stationary insurance counselling, the next step will be to implement solutions for medial counselling.", concludes Adriaan Geursen.
