Three different I/O layouts are available. The Mini Series M1 has Powered Device support (PD), which can receive power from Ethernet devices without an adapter. Users can thus simplify installation, save space and reduce material and labor costs. The M2 Mini Series supports two Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) to receive power via the Ethernet cable. This allows two PoE cameras to be connected for a security and detection system with a transmission distance of max. 100 meters. Up to 8 cameras can be connected to the M3 Mini Series. In this way, for example, a flow control system can be set up cost-effectively in Smart Factory or Smart Retail.
The Mini Series supports Aetina’s EdgeEye software for monitoring edge devices and enables real-time remote monitoring to control the status of all installed devices. Application areas include factory, smart transportation, retail, healthcare, AIoT applications and robotics. According to manufacturer Aetina, the Mini Series enables faster development to mass production.
