The NCS NOVA GNSS Simulator is a high-end, powerful and easy to use satellite navigation testing and R&D device. It is fully capable of multi-constellation and multi-frequency simulations for a wide range of GNSS applications. The NCS NOVA GNSS Simulator is one of the leading solutions on the market providing multiple GNSS frequencies in one box.
A new key enhancement to the NCS NOVA GNSS Simulator is comprehensive support of dual-RF outputs. The NCS NOVA GNSS Simulator is now able to coherently generate GNSS RF signals on two independent RF outputs simultaneously. The user may freely allocate GNSS signals and RF channels to each of the RF outputs. This feature allows simulation of GNSS signals at 2 antenna locations simultaneously (this could be 2 antennas on a vehicle, 2 separate vehicles maneuvering independently, or a static location plus a mobile unit).
The NOVA may be purchased configured with 2 RF outputs, or the second output may be enabled at a later date, as a field upgrade, with no need to return the Simulator to the factory. Additional GNSS signal capability and additional RF channels may also be added by simply purchasing the appropriate license.
"Its advanced technology features and flexibility enables users to fulfill their needs in testing advanced GNSS applications across a very wide range of fields, including Space, Aviation, Automotive (including autonomous driving) and many others.", said Dr. Günter Heinrichs, Head of Client Solutions at IFEN.
IFEN is a leading provider of GNSS navigation products and services. IFEN’s technology portfolio includes GNSS RF-signal Simulators, GNSS Software Receivers, simulation and data processing tools.
