Energy-efficient and powerful – the new 1201F cooling machine

With the introduction of the new 1201F cooling machine, JULABO is offering environmentally friendly and energy-efficient refrigerated circulators from the CORIO and DYNEO series with a large bath volume and a working temperature range of -40 until +100 °C with a powerful cooling capacity of 1.25 kW at 20 °C.

Powerful refrigerated circulators from the CORIO and DYNEO product brands have played an indispensable role in laboratories and industrial applications worldwide for years. The new models CORIO CD-1201F, CORIO CP-1201F, DYNEO DD-1201F and DYNEO DD-1201F-BF work sustainably and future-proof with natural refrigerants. If the 1201F is not cooling under full load, the compressor and ventilator switch to the partial load range, which significantly reduces the sound level. For internal temperature control applications, the optimized design of the refrigerated circulators offers an above-average bath opening and more space in the bath tank. This means that not only larger samples, but also more samples can be tempered at the same time.

The DYNEO DD-1201F-BF circulator offers the latest technology for determining the shelf life of beer. The beer forcing test can be used to evaluate the shelf life and stability of beer. It is carried out to assess the shelf life and the tendency of a beer to undergo microbiological or chemical changes. The aim is to predict the behavior of the beer over a lengthy storage period in a short period of time. For this purpose, beer samples are filled into bottles and artificial, accelerated ageing is simulated with the help of temperature cycles. This is repeated until the first turbidity is detected using a photometer. The forcing test is particularly useful for breweries to optimize the quality assurance of their products and detect potential problems at an early stage before the beer reaches the market.

The DYNEO DD-1201F-BF comes with all the temperature profiles required to perform the forcing test, both for stabilized and untreated beer, already installed. Individual changes to the program settings can be made by the user at any time in a simple manner.

The new refrigeration units offer impressive energy-saving potential up to 70 percent: Electronic expansion valves, speed-controlled compressors and ventilators allow for usage-dependent power consumption. This leads to significant operating cost savings in many application scenarios and therefore to a faster amortization of the acquisition costs.
