KISTERS 3DViewStation: From Model-Based Design to Model-Based Enterprise (MBE)

Model-Based Definition (MBD) refers to a 3D CAD model that contains all the necessary information for manufacturing and inspecting a product, known as Product Manufacturing Information (PMI). This model becomes the single source of truth of product information, also known as the 3D Master, replacing traditional 2D drawings. KISTERS 3DViewStation efficiently reads and visualizes these annotations within the 3D CAD model allowing users to easily search for specific information at any time. 3DViewStation offers a wide range of features such as annotations, exploded views, BOM’s, sectional views, surface information, and PMI that can be easily accessed.
