Loder1899 is making a fresh start with its groundbreaking presentation of the new Ford Custom 4×4

In 2024, the “Loder1899” brand, a subsidiary of delta4x4, will be revived: between 2005 and 2015, the company achieved worldwide recognition with the “Loder1899” branch, which was created specifically for sporty automobiles. In particular, his extensive customization of Aston Martin, Ford, Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles contributed to this. In recent years, however, things have become somewhat quieter around this branch of the company.

A massive off-road conversion of the Ford Transit Custom 4×4 documents the revival.

Extensive customization, based on the entire experience of the last 124 years, should flow into the realization of the Ford Transit Custom 4×4: Josef Loder I founded his workshop for agricultural machinery, engines and bicycles in Odelzhausen as early as 1899, when he was only 19 years old. At that time, the company’s main purpose was to finance Josef’s passion for racing – be it with a horse and sulky or on a bicycle. And this passion for speed has been passed down from generation to generation and is still an essential part of the company philosophy. This is demonstrated not least by the participation of his great-great-grandchildren in the next Dakar Rally with a Puch G.

As a Ford dealer from the very beginning, the choice to revive the brand “Loder1899” fell on one of the highest-selling Ford models, the Ford Transit Custom. Equipped with an off-road chassis, the Odelzhausen specialists raised the Transit by 80 millimeters, making room for the impressive Hamna rims on “Loder” AT1 tires in size 255/55R18. A striking front bar in accordance with EC guidelines and PIAA LED headlights complement the safety features on and off the road. The off-road package is also rounded off with a sturdy roof rack. This roof rack is ideal for roof tents and everything an adventurer’s heart desires.

A street version is also in preparation.

In the coming weeks, Loder1899 will publish the first images of the street version of the Transit Custom, which is equipped with a stylish body styling kit, a lowered suspension and 20-inch rims. Stay tuned for more information.

The parts are expected to be available from mid-2024.
