Industrial Air Sensor Modules from Innodisk for Edge AI Applications

With the growing trend towards sustainability and ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance), companies are increasingly assessing their air quality and setting targets to reduce pollutant emissions. Innodisk, together with its subsidiary Sysinno, is introducing its latest industrial air sensor modules that offer accurate data collection and adaptability in harsh environments. This allows the modules to be easily integrated in many different areas.

The module is a combination of an EZU2-I301 carrier board and air sensors. The carrier board measures temperature and humidity. The external air sensors measure various air quality parameters to obtain the most accurate and reliable readings possible from any environmental condition. They provide readings and data for carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), ozone (O₃) as well as formaldehyde (HCHO) and all volatile organic compounds (TVOC).

The board comes with a software development kit that allows the sensor data to be effectively and quickly integrated into existing enterprise software. The use of Innodisk’s industrial air sensor modules increases air quality in corporate premises to improve the well-being of employees and visitors. The goal is to meet the values of local guidelines.

Easy implementation

The modules can be easily integrated into various systems, including industrial PCs (IPC), edge servers and embedded systems, via the I2C interface or USB. The module design ensures minimal power consumption and prevents excessive heating during operation.

Strong adaptability

Algorithms are built into the air sensor modules to improve their adaptability. The modules are able to dynamically adapt their functionality to temperature, humidity and environment. To obtain precise and reliable readings for any environmental condition, the air sensor mixes and matches different air quality parameters.

Assured quality

Innodisk produces the air sensor modules in-house and uses original sensor heads from world-leading suppliers. In doing so, Innodisk adheres to industry standards.

Air sensor expertise

The modules utilise Sysinno’s expertise in improving air quality. With over 10 years of experience and involvement in more than 500 cross-industry projects, Sysinno’s exclusive technologies have passed multiple third-party accuracy tests and proven their quality and reliability when implemented in various fields.

Application areas

Applications are in the smart factory in dashboard monitors and factory inspection robots, in smart cities in EV charging stations, in interactive kiosks and smart outdoor lights. In smart healthcare, they are used in nurses’s round trolley and nursing agencies.
