Submission Period for TYPO3 Awards Gala at T3CON23 Now Open

Starting on 20 June 2023, TYPO3 professionals and agencies are invited to submit their exceptional TYPO3 projects for consideration in the awards. The submission period will remain open until 1 September 2023, offering participants ample time to present their outstanding work to the jury.

The Award Categories of the 15th TYPO3 Conference

The TYPO3 Awards of the renewed TYPO3 Conference will feature an extensive range of categories that reflect the versatility of the CMS. Projects can be nominated in the following diverse categories:

• Sport

• Finance

The coveted Website of the Year will be chosen from amongst the winners. Whether you are an agency, freelancer, or in-house professional, the TYPO3 Awards welcome nominations from all sectors of the TYPO3 community. The submission fee per entry is €200,- plus VAT.

Ticket Sales are Open: Celebrate Excellence in TYPO3

The TYPO3 Awards Gala returns after a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic and the change in parameters regarding exhibitions, conferences and in-person events. All the more reason to invite the winners of each category to the stage to showcase their projects, providing insights into their successful TYPO3 implementations.

The shortlist of nominees will be announced in September 2023. Agencies are encouraged to secure their package tickets, which grant access to the two-day conference and the award ceremony, allowing them to invite the clients behind their nominated projects to join in the celebration and learn more about digital sovereignty, infrastructure, data protection, and privacy. Additionally, agencies can showcase their brand by reserving a branded VIP table closest to the stage at €500,- plus VAT. Regular tickets for the Awards Gala can be purchased at €200,- incl. VAT.

TYPO3 Introduces NFTs as Awards

As a testament to the evolving digital landscape, the TYPO3 Awards will introduce a new and exciting feature this year. Winners will receive their awards not only as physical accolades but also as animated Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), providing a unique and innovative way to commemorate their achievements.

The Award Jury: A Group of Diverse Industry Professionals

All website nominations will be judged by a team of five industry professionals from diverse backgrounds. The panel includes experts with experience in various content management systems, individuals well-versed in TYPO3 from both code and editing perspectives, as well as UI/UX and SEO specialists. The jury members will be announced soon, together with information about their expertise and contributions to the selection process.
