"As Chairperson of the German-African Business Association, I am looking forward to being able to help shape German-African economic relations even more than before, also in an honorary capacity. The association’s networks, information and events make it easier for many German companies to establish business relations with our economically up-and-coming neighbouring continent. The companies operating in Africa value the association as a strong representation of their interests. My predecessor, Stefan Liebing, has achieved a great deal in this sector in recent years. German companies need to diversify and expand even more with regards to Africa and, to do this, they need effective political support. The German-African Business Association will continue to work expressly towards achieving this," says Dall’Omo.
Roland Göhde (Sysmex Europe SE), Martin Güldner (GOPA Consulting Group), Frank Nordmann (GRIMME Landmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG) and Volker Schütte (Fredk. Möller Söhne GmbH, Treasurer) were elected as Dall’Omo’s deputies.
The board is now completed by Martina Biene (Volkswagen Group South Africa), Shobhna Mohn (Bertelsmann SE & Co. KgaA), Petra Warnecke (Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, GIZ) and Rasmus Woermann (C. Woermann GmbH & Co. KG).
