Rohmann, manufacturer of Eddy Current testing instruments, offers manual as well as partly and fully automated inspection solutions for this sector. The ELOTEST M6 and ELOTEST PL650 digital testing instruments belong to this year’s new products at the trade fair. The ELOTEST M6 hand-held testing device stands out with technical features, which are usually only expected to be applied in inline systems such as the ELOTEST PL650. This device scores with an integrated C-Scan function for array probes and rotor applications.
Another highlight of the trade fair is the exposed STALVOSS inspection system for cylindrical rollers. The system is conceived for 3 shift operation and stands out due to the high-speed throughput. Rohmann coils and Eddy Current testing instruments are applied here.
Further demo applications will provide a good insight into non-destructive testing of materials with Eddy Currents, such as the fast 2 or 4 frequency sorting with FastSort. This sorting is used for determining material properties or differences in hardness. Up to 200 parts per second can be tested during the fast sorting.
