Angst+Pfister takes over FoxSense PAROX paramagnetic oxygen sensor business

Angst+Pfister AG, of Zürich, Switzerland, a leading supplier of mechanical and electronic components for the industrial and medical OEM markets, announces the acquisition of the of the paramagnetic oxygen business of FoxSense (The PAROX Company).

FoxSense AG is a Swiss company that develops and manufactures the internationally established PAROX brand, consisting of high-precision, paramagnetic oxygen sensors and analyzers for industrial OEM applications. As owner and managing director, Jacques Faber has decided to sell the PAROX business to Angst+Pfister with the intention of further developing the product alongside a globally active partner with a well-connected sensor technology network and bringing it even closer to the needs of customers. The focus of the transaction is also the continuity of the existing customer relationships and the long-term protection of the partnership.

Angst+Pfister will continue to operate the FoxSense business in its subsidiary Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power (formerly known as Pewatron). Jacques Faber will continue to drive further development at Angst+Pfister as Head of Development Gas Sensor Technology and will be supported in the future by Volker Huelsekopf as a contact person on the market side.

Volker Huelsekopf has been working in the field of gas sensor technology for more than 15 years and was founding member of smartGAS Mikrosensorik GmbH, where he was responsible for sales and marketing. His addition, complements the Angst+Pfister team in the field of oxygen sensing since the beginning of 2023, especially with a focus on the paramagnetic O2 sensors from FoxSense.
