Technical progress and customer-specific solutions make components and systems increasingly complex. But the level of complexity rises with the growing number and diversity of functions as well as with the increase in the number of types and processes required to ensure them. In other words, planning, control and operation require more and more time – and thus money. Due to the lack of skilled workers, there are also fewer and fewer people who can take over. As a result, solutions which help users reduce the level of complexity are in high demand.
BITZER, the refrigeration and air conditioning specialist, can help plan, monitor, and service components and systems with its digital solutions and services:
Analyse operating data with the BITZER Digital Network
The BITZER Digital Network (BDN) online platform is based on the BITZER company’s compressor expertise and creates a service infrastructure for efficient operation and high component availability. In conjunction with the IQ modules, the BITZER Digital Network allows users to view and analyse the operating data of their compressors. As a result, compressors can, for example, be serviced on time, and intelligent solutions can be identified in the event of a fault. The IQ modules provide access to the Internet.
‘The BITZER Digital Network allows customers to view their product’s digital twin and access live data about operating conditions,’ says Martin Büchsel, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of BITZER. ‘As a result, our products can be serviced more efficiently, which reduces operating and maintenance costs.’
Accessible to all customers via the myBITZER platform, the BDN offers detailed information about relevant technical product data and spare parts, maintenance history and online product-specific documentation. Users can therefore see an overview of all their installed and registered products as well as all key application information related to BITZER products.
Find suitable products with the BITZER software
The BITZER software is available in 14 languages and helps users select systems and choose suitable products from the BITZER portfolio. Users can view all key information such as technical data and performance tables in the online version.
The intelligent IQ modules can also be operated digitally with the BEST software, providing users with an overview of troubleshooting, maintenance and operating status – for example, with a history of commissioning. The EPARTS spare parts software and the smarTube selection software for dry expansion evaporators round off the range.
Expertise for on the go
Four additional free apps and services complement the digital service portfolio. The BITZER BEST app, which is the mobile counterpart to the BEST software, allows users to configure and monitor operation of their IQ modules, and provides them with access to the myBITZER customer portal with uploaded operating data. The customer portal can be accessed from the company’s website and provides information about all key products as well as tailored content and services.
Located at www.bitzer-refrigerantreport.com, the digital Refrigerant Report contains all the important facts and figures about refrigerants, whilst the BITZER Refrigerant Ruler provides mobile access to all key refrigerant data and enables precise pressure and temperature conversion.
With the BITZER SPOT app, customers can verify the authenticity of BITZER products using a QR code on the product.
