Combining the products creates high-performance connectors in the HPR housing with IP68/69 protection which can also transmit power, signals and/or data in parallel when Single Poles are combined with a Han-Modular® supporting frame. There is room in one VarioShell for up to eight Single Poles with 250 A or 350 A contacts, up to six Single Poles with 650 A contacts or a maximum of two Modular supporting frames.
The HPR high-current Single Poles offer particularly secure connections. Thanks to pins integrated with the housing, there are up to 25 different coding options per interface. The Single Poles are intended to facilitate handling various high-current connections on trains, particularly when using very heavy cables. It is also possible to connect to other power supply systems on the rail vehicle.
The new single-pole HPR connectors meet all the important railway standards such as EN 50467, EN 50124-1, EN 61373, EN 45545 and EN 60137 as does the entire series.
