In addition, Mr. Rainer Dietz will be appointed Managing Director. Mr. Dietz will take over the operational area and build up the new Operational Excellence department, among other things, with the goal of a future-proof company. Mr. Dietz is 37 years old and comes from the Hohenlohe district. Turbomachinery have accompanied him his entire career. More than ten years ago, he moved from a fan manufacturer in Künzelsau to FIMA. Since then, he has already passed through many different departments and successfully held managerial positions.

"The focus in the coming years will be on the further development of FIMA Maschinenbau GmbH, both within Europe and overseas, including the expansion of its international presence," emphasizes Michael Hansen. The intention is also to further strengthen the FIMA organization in Obersontheim and abroad so that FIMA can meet new technological challenges, not least in developing solutions for the green technology market.

At the same time, Dr. Serdar Ertong is retiring after more than 5 years at the top of the company. Currently, he is taking care of a structured handover and will be available to FIMA in an advisory capacity from June 2022 until the end of the year. During his time as Managing Director, he has done a lot for the company. The entire FIMA team is very grateful to him for this and wishes him above all good health for his new phase of life in the future.
