Sunken gold treasures

Treasures exert fascination, and so does the "ship of gold".

Shipwrecks abound, and the more gold involved, the more interesting the stories. In 1857, a steamer called the Ship of Gold sank off the coast of South Carolina. It contained one of the largest gold cargoes ever lost. The SS Central America was struck by a hurricane, and it sank in the waves. The cargo consisted of the spoils of miners who had struck it rich in the California Gold Rush. Bars, coins and nuggets were recovered from the ocean floor between 1988 and 2014. Now portraits from the 19th century that had survived in the Atlantic were still found. They were pictures of miners and their families. 425 people died at that time when the ship sank.

The portraits of the relatives in the form of glass plates have survived the test of time. Gold outlasts many things, is a tried and tested means of preserving value, yet the pictures of the relatives are also valuable. Gold has a message, according to one of the researchers of the ship of gold, but the images of the people who were behind it also deserve attention. For photographers, the find is a unique thing to see faces from the depths. The bars, nuggets and the gold coins that were found in the process show the imperishability of gold, which fascinates investors even today and which attracts investors especially in these difficult times, it is hard to say war times. Presumably, there is still room for improvement in the gold price and investments should be considered, for example in the values of gold companies.

Maple Gold Mineshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8f3dibYi68 -, for example, comes into consideration. Together with its partner Agnico Eagle, drilling is in full swing at the Douay gold project in Quebec, as well as at the Joutel gold project.

In Colombia, GCM Mininghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VohdV1sLt1k – is already producing successfully at its Segovia property. Almost 208,000 ounces of gold were produced in the past twelve months.
