Digital Dump Podcast #37 with Marco Hinz

Marco Hinz is this week’s guest on the “Digital Dump” podcast. The current episode is about Marco Hinz – a driver of Digital Debt and Data at CrossLend. He explains how to build a bridge between the capital markets and the real economy. His mission is to make the debt market more efficient, transparent and digital. The COO of CrossLend was talking to Kate Pohl, Head of Banking & Partner Strategy and Execution at Traxpay, and Steven Batiste, CTO of TIS.

Steven Batiste and Kate Pohl had the pleasure of interviewing Marco Hinz, COO of CrossLend this week. Marco explained that he has always been involved in B2B technology, however never in banking… until CrossLend! CrossLend bridges the gap between the “capital markets” world and the “real” world, taking some of the cost and friction out of lending! Marco discussed the concept of embedded finance and “being at the point of the business, the point of the demand”. He believes in experimentation and is not afraid to fail. Marco’s motto is: “Let us try this!”  AI is critical for this business going forward, in Marco’s opinion, but do we need blockchain? Do LEGO blocks really have something to do with banking? And even more importantly, how do you play TETRIS with your dishwasher? Tune in to find the answers to these questions and so much more!

Tune in and find out!
