- For all: Information and entertainment for employees, retirees, dealers and Opel fans
- Up to date: From traditional employee newspaper to modern web magazine
- Relaunched: Now with richer, more modern appearance, and easier to use
The Opel Post is one of the most tradition-rich employee magazines in the German industry. Founded in 1949 in the classic newspaper format, the Opel Post has been available as a web magazine since 2013, open to all – employees, retirees, dealers and fans of the brand. From now on, all readers can look forward to a new Opel Post. The editorial team around Editor-in-Chief Roland Korioth has done more than just adapt fonts and colours to the current Opel CI. Rather, the layout is now completely up to date – richer, more modern, and easier to use. Photos and videos can be viewed across the entire screen width of smartphones, tablets and large monitors. News can now be found in the “BlitzNews” section. Reports about fans and their very special cars are collected as “BlitzStories”.
“The Opel Post is an important channel for our internal and external communications, it is all about what’s going on at Opel”, says Opel Head of Communications Harald Hamprecht. “With its new look, the Opel Post makes you want to read even more. We present interesting people and their exciting work, portray dealers, tuners and their dream cars, and offer a treasure trove of downloads – unique design sketches from all eras to colouring and craft templates for Blitz kids.”
Opel Post Editor-in-Chief Roland Korioth adds: “We also want to reach new readers with the modern layout and strong stories. The Opel Post has long since developed into a forum for Opel fans and all friends of the brand. For the relaunch, for example, we accompany music producer, rapper and Opel fan Moses Pelham on a tour in the Mokka-e through his hometown of Frankfurt. During the tour, the rapper reveals how his new album ‘Nostalgie Tape’ came about – including the song ‘Insignia’.”
The Opel Post is available online free of charge and without restrictions for everyone. The web magazine is available in German and English.
