At the Press Day (07.12.21) of Blackstone Technology in Döbeln/Saxony, Robert E. Orten Dipl. Ing. Fahrzeugtechnik, the managing partner of ORTEN E-Trucks, will present a first, operational commercial vehicle. A joint pilot project with Blackstone will then start before the end of the first quarter of 2022, during which the commercial vehicle will be powered by our world first: 3D-printed batteries based on Blackstone Thick Layer Technology ©. "With 20% increased energy density, our charge carriers also enable 20% more range," says Ulrich Ernst, Founder and CEO of Blackstone Resources AG. "At the same time, we can dramatically reduce environmental impacts in production and eliminate 50% of the industry’s waste materials."
ORTEN plans hydrogen truck with batteries from Blackstone
The cooperation between Blackstone and ORTEN is already about to take the next step: the e-truck retrofitter from Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate is currently planning the realisation of a hydrogen-powered heavy-duty truck for long-distance transports. The vehicle’s electrical energy storage systems are also planned to use lithium cells produced by Blackstone using 3D printing. "Quite simply, our energy carriers deliver more power in the same installation space. ORTEN E-Trucks would like to take advantage of this compelling argument," explains Mr Ernst.
Eventful programme at the Press Day, 07.12.21
Blackstone Technology’s Press Day on 7.12.21 is causing a stir in the industry, but also in the media: For the first time, representatives of the press will be able to witness the production of 3D printed batteries.
Blackstone is demonstrating the battery manufacturing revolution and making an important and sustainable contribution to the electric transport transition, the fight against climate change and the decarbonization of the world.
Press representatives are cordially invited to the event on 7.12.21. Registrations are currently still possible at https://events.blackstoneresources.ch/
Blackstone Resources is a Swiss Holding Company, with its legal domicile in Baar, Kanton Zug, and is concentrating on the battery technology and battery-metals market and offers direct exposure to the battery-technology revolution.
Presently, Blackstone Technology builds up a production-line for small series of 3D printed batteries in Döbeln, Saxony, Germany. The short-term production will be pouch-cells with the Blackstone Thick Layer Technology © which allows a 20% higher density in lithium-ion cells, Blackstone Resources continues the program of development in solid state batteries and its production process.
Electric vehicles and batteries have driven the demand for vast quantities of these metals. Therefore, Blackstone Resources sets up, develops and manages production-refineries for battery-metals such as lithium, cobalt, manganese, graphite, nickel and copper.
