• Two meeting points for trade visitors; joint stand with Rittal
• World first: experience VarioBelt TilterPlus in action
Siemens Logistics is presenting an innovative product portfolio for airports at this year’s inter airport Europe. In Hall B5, two meeting points will provide visitors with expert information on the latest products and developments for seamless baggage handling. Combining hardware with software and the real world with the digital world is one of the great strengths of Siemens Logistics. This enables airports and airlines to benefit from efficient and reliable baggage handling systems alongside state-of-the-art IoT applications, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
At Stand 1560, in cooperation with Rittal, there will be an opportunity to see the worldwide unique VarioBelt TilterPlus from Siemens in action. The innovative product uses an advanced tilting mechanism to sort baggage in three directions: straight ahead, to the left and right. This high-performance device is based on the proven VarioBelt technology already in operation at many airports.
At Stand 1160, Siemens will present the latest version of Baggage 360. The trendsetting software represents a major step toward a digital twin for baggage handling. It offers actionable recommendations and proactive collaboration for all airport stakeholders. To this end, Baggage 360 provides real-time baggage flow forecasting, optimized resource planning and an interactive airport map to control operations – even remotely.
The Siemens Logistics team is looking forward to meeting with customers and partners again in person at inter airport Europe to share expertise and discuss the aviation industry’s current and future challenges.
