- thyssenkrupp carbon wheels are now available with a matt finish
- Matt finish option available for wide range of product portfolio
- Unique appearance and guaranteed paint durability
The ultra-light braided carbon wheels from thyssenkrupp Carbon Components are now available in a new design variant – a matt finish. As previously announced, the manufacturer extends the matt paint option to a wide range of the product portfolio. The first matt-painted carbon wheels from thyssenkrupp Carbon Components can be ordered immediately via the manufacturer’s online shop and the existing dealer network. Matt finish is the trend: Interested customers can choose between the classic gloss finish and a modern matt finish. The latter is offered at a surcharge of 289 euros (incl. 19% VAT).
The seemingly dull surface gives the braided carbon wheels an incomparable look. The matt appearance of the paint is created by the diffuse reflection of incident light. Despite the additional layer applied to the wheel, the unique carbon structure of the thyssenkrupp wheels is still clearly visible.
Customers who choose to purchase the matt wheel need to have no doubts that the matt appearance will disappear over time. Each wheel is individually examined at the production facility in Kesselsdorf in Saxony and evaluated using standardised test criteria. The durability of the paint can be guaranteed even under considerable environmental influences.
CEO Dr. Jens Werner: "Motorcycle riders with a high affinity for design and aesthetics will be particularly attracted by the new matt finish. With the design option of finishing the carbon wheels with matt paint, we offer our customers further room for individualisation."
thyssenkrupp Carbon Components develops and produces carbon wheels for automotive and motorcycle manufacturers and also supplies end customers with motorcycle wheels. The company in Kesselsdorf near Dresden, Germany was founded in 2012.
