The services, which are provided on site with the company’s own employees, include maintenance, repair, and fault clearance as well as a 24/7 on-call service. In 2011 Audi acquired a 23-hectare site in the industrial park in Heilbronn near the Audi plant in Neckarsulm and inaugurated its logistics centre and production of the Audi R8 there in 2014. Since then, the production site has been repeatedly rebuilt and expanded during ongoing operations. Since December 2020, the all-electric Gran Turismo Audi e-tron GT has also been manufactured there in addition to the Audi R8.
