The automatic switching between cellular and Wi-Fi connections ensures uninterrupted data transmissions and eliminates environmental interruptions for applications that involve frequently moving between outdoor and indoor areas. For indoor Wi-Fi connectivity, Advantech’s Android offers seamless Wi-Fi roaming capabilities to provide superior connectivity for reliable real-time communication. The frequency settings can limit the scanned bandwidth and signal strength threshold for roaming to the “best” AP, while the scan period settings can optimize roaming performance in relation to the speed of the object. Moreover, the DLT-V72 Facelift VMTs are also equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 to facilitate the integration of a wide range of wireless peripherals.
